How would you like to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a 19th century vine
owner's mansion, near the Cité of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the Montagne
Noire and the natural park of Haut-Languedoc?
Four charming guestrooms, all different, decorated with ancient furniture and objects
but with modern conveniences, plus a walled garden with a pool form a perfect place
for a quiet and peaceful stay.
Our main asset : in addition to welcoming you, we also give you tips on off the
beaten tracks discoveries in the Minervois, the vicinity of Carcassonne, our "Cathar
country", so rich in history and magnificent landscapes.
If you prefer the sea, the Mediterranean is nearby: a 45 minute trip by car.
A stay in a guesthouse is synonymous with a quality breakfast: freshly squeezed
juices, home made jams, bread, pastries, cereals, eggs from our chickens make up a
healthy breakfast taken in the garden under the arbour or in the refurbished old
winery, before your exploration castles, abbeys and ancient villages.

Twice a week, by appointment, we organize candlelight dinners in the garden, under
the wisteria, as often as the weather allows.
Preference is given to the local cuisine and to the Mediterranean gastronomy.

The big thing in the Minervois is the wine...
Moreover we have given to our rooms the name of varieties of grapevine from
Languedoc : Carignan, Grenache, Marsanne, Cinsault.
Wines of the Minervois suffer from an image of low quality products that do not
correspond at all to reality. On the contrary, it is packed with small treasures of
great value for money and a wide variety of flavours. It is a great pleasure to visit
wineries (often beautiful properties) and taste their production.
